Writing & Publishing

Storytelling is at the heart of everything I do; literally in the form of words on a page, sometimes as textured art on a canvas, and occasionally as a heart-to-heart conversation or intuitive guidance.

I’ve spent most of my professional life in editorial and publishing, working as a managing editor and producer of over 250 issues of B2B and B2C magazines, peer-reviewed journals, and custom content projects. Today, my work is more personal and more fulfilling.

I’m the author of The Amazing Adventures of Sisi the Mouse, a heartwarming illustrated chapter book for children (and their grown-ups). It’s a story about courage, belonging, and the small moments that shape us — inspired by real memories, dedicated to my late mother, and filled with nods to cherished people and places.

I’m also the founder of Enthusiasts of Life, an independent publishing and media brand built on the belief that stories have the power to heal, connect, and transform, especially when told with heart and intention. Our offerings include books, written features, and soon podcasts and video content, all designed to spark curiosity, joy, and courage.

Textured Art

At the foundation of my artwork is the texture, which sets the tone for the colours and finishes. I use plaster or silica-based compound to sculpt my textures on reclaimed or upcycled canvases and boards. I frame my own pieces and use repurposed materials wherever possible. It brings me immense joy to transform discarded or unwanted pieces into into inspiring art.

Through my work, I explore themes of sunlight, nature, the intricacies of life, celestial bodies and the Universe, as well as explorations of the concepts such as contrast, duality, unity, creation or movement.

Inspiring Work

Ania, we hung the paintings on Thursday night, so we’ve had a full day of changing light. They look wonderful in each setting.
This morning, with the sunlight, I found them quite refreshing and inspiring.
